My Girl

“My Girl” was The Temptations’ first chart-topping single in the US, and remains one of their signature songs. Co-written by Smokey Robinson and featuring Motown bass virtuoso James Jamerson, the song became one of Berry Gordy’s most successful Motown releases and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998.
